Southeastern Oregon is an often overlooked region of our beautiful country. It's easy to see why: sparsely populated, endless dry hills, seemingly nothing. But we're here to tell you that there is SO.MUCH.MORE!
Tucked away into a remote corner of the Beaver State are some mysterious hot springs and they're just begging for you to get your soak on!
Now, this isn't a glamorous place. We'll leave that to the springs up in Idaho City. This is a remote and rugged area on the less visited side of the Steen Mountain Range. But it's beauty is truly unparalleled and it makes for one hell of a weekend getaway!
Join Bold Betties Boise as we head out once again to celebrate our Bold Betties anniversary in the Alvord Desert!
We'll pack everything we need and head out on Friday afternoon around 2pm for an approximate 3.5 hour drive. We'll help arrange carpools and if some people need to leave later, we'll help you get your plans sorted out! The drive itself is stunningly beautiful, and with a few Bold Betties in your car, you're bound to have a great time! Carpool Karaoke anyone?
Once we arrive, we'll work together to get our very unique accommodations in order. That's right, y'all. We're staying in....MASH UNITS!
