Treat yourself to a holiday vacation – Bold Betties Style!

No snow and no ice, just you, your favorite Bold Betties friends, and five days of amazing adventure in the Sonoran Desert!

We’ll meet our guides in Scottsdale, AZ and we’ll kick everything off with an orientation and a fun local happy hour! That night, we’ll hang out in a beautiful room at the host hotel in Scottsdale.

We’ll get plenty of adventure sleep (which is way better than beauty sleep), and we’ll head out early for a quick 45 minute drive to the Lower Salt River. Here, we’ll choose a raft or an inflatable kayak to float this amazing waterway through the famous Sonoran Desert and enjoy a riverside picnic before heading to our basecamp where we’ll set up camp with the guides and enjoy a special dutch oven cooking class!

On Day 3, get ready for a delightful hike through the beautiful McDowell Mountains. After yet another delicious guide prepared lunch, we’ll hop on a mountain bike to enjoy some beginner friendly trails!

On the last full day of your holiday present to yourself, we’ll pack up a lightweight daypack and check out the Superstition Wilderness! The ancient trails of this mystical range will unfurl themselves and we’ll get to learn all about the sordid Wild West History of the area. That evening, we’ll return to camp for a campfire and s’mores (fire restrictions permitting).

One last breakfast in camp, and we’re on our way back to reality. Say goodbye to your brand new friends, shake the last bits of dust out of your boots, and head home feeling accomplished and ready to take on the end of the year!
