What to Bring: Footwear – athletic shoes, the stiffer the sole, the better
pack: your bike will come equipped with a water bottle and a small bag to carry your lunch, extra clothing and emergency tools. You may want a day pack for wandering around town.
Water: Although one bottle will be provided, you may want to carry more water. We suggest you bring a second water bottle, or a Nalgene to be carried in the pack, or a water bladder like a Camelbak. The van will also carry replenishment wate.
Food: Lunches and snacks are provided, but if you have a special diet or have special nutritious snacks that you like, bring them with you. Breakfast is provided at the hotel and there are numerous restaurants for you to choose from for dinner.
Clothing: weather can change quickly and often in the mountains. Always bring a rainjacket, no matter the weather forecast, and a light warmth layer, like a fleece (not a bulky cotton sweatshirt). If you are wearing shorts, bring leg coverings – stretch pants, wind pants, or the like. Sunscreen and lipbalm are a must, and sunglasses.
