Bohemian Comfort - Authentic and true immersive experience! Sleep in tents, eat simple, delicious and healthy food and get cozy and intimate with your fellow Betties! Might have to arrange somethings on your own such as ground transportation or do a more extensive preparation than you might in other trip styles*


Convenient Comfort – Minimum effort on your part! Sleep in a room which you might share with one other Betty, eat prepared meals that are hearty and healthy and prepare minimally as the rest is provided. In most cases, ground transportation is included*


Luxury Comfort - Just show up and the rest is covered. Sleep with comfort in a nice bed with luxury linen, eat gourmet food, drink wonderful wine and get plenty of rest before your full day of adventure. Ground transportation is included and all of your gear is provided*

This is a great entry level trip for newcomers or Betties looking build confidence outdoors. Expect 2-5 hours of activity a day on mostly flat or slightly hilly terrain with the occassional steep and/or uneven trail. You'll travel approximately 4-6 miles per day and experience moderate elevation/altitude changes.


Moderately difficult featuring more hills and mountain terrain, but still accessible for Betties inexperienced in outdoor adventure. Expect 4-6 hours of activity covering up to 10 miles a day. Expect steep and uneven trails and altitudes up to 10,000 ft.


Challenging adventures for Betties who are fit adventurers and possess a basic skill set for the outdoors. Expect 5-8 hours of activity per day over a variety of exposed terrain and steep uneven trails. Distances up to 12 miles per day and altitudes up to 14,000 ft.


Designed for the most experienced Betties who are do adventures on a regular basis. You'll be taken to remote locations over exposed, uneven and challenging terrain, requiring 10+ hours of activity per day and distances of 12+ miles. Altitudes could exceed 14,000 ft.

Join Bold Betties for a 4 day, 3 night trip exploring one of America’s great National Parks in a way that you never have before on this guide supported backpacking adventure! We’ll meet at the  Backpackers’ Campground, located at the far end of the North Pines Campground in Yosemite Valley. Trip orientation, packing lesson and dinner to follow.

IMPORTANT: Please leave yourself ample travel time as traffic can sometimes be an issue in the valley.

This trek is on a quieter, lesser known trail with an estimated hiking distance of 15 miles over the course of the trip. Along the trail you’ll be rewarded with gorgeous views of cascades and the high Sierras, waterfalls along Chilnualna Creek and maybe even a quick refreshing dip in the creek along the way.

ITINERARY OVERVIEW:

JUNE 14: WELCOME TO YOSEMITE

4:30pm Meet your guide at the Backpackers’ Campground, located at the far end of the North Pines Campground in

Yosemite Valley. Trip orientation, packing lesson and dinner to follow.

Camping: Backpackers’ Campground at North Pines Campground

JUNE 15: BACKPACK TO CHILNUALNA FALLS

Transfer 1 hour to the Chilnualna Falls trailhead.

Backpack this quieter, lesser known trail along Chilnualna Creek and check out the gorgeous cascades and falls along the way.

Set up camp and enjoy a hearty dinner just above the mighty Chilnualna Falls.

Hiking: 4.25 miles, +2,300ft elevation

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Camping: Backcountry site in Yosemite

JUNE 16: DAY HIKE TO TURNER MEADOWS

Taking only daypacks we trek further into Yosemite high country.

Savor astounding views of the Clark Range of the High Sierras and perhaps take a swim in Chilnualna Creek.

Enjoy a well-deserved dinner back at camp.

Hiking: 7 miles, +1,500ft elevation

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Camping: Backcountry site in Yosemite

JUNE 17: COMPLETE OUR TREK AND RETURN TO YOSEMITE VALLEY

Enjoy a final breakfast in camp and pack up to return to the Chilnualna Falls trailhead.

Depending on timing and conditions your guide may suggest a fun afternoon activity for the group.

Expect to wrap up the trip and return to your car around 4:00-4:30pm.
